Registration Policies & FAQs

Please review the policies below before completing your registration.

Substitution Policy

Can't attend? We strongly encourage substitutions. Registrations may be transferred to another employee within the same organization at no additional charge, even if your plans change close to the event.

Whenever possible, FTF encourages attendees who are unable to attend to transfer their registration to another employee within the same organization rather than cancel.

To help us provide the best event experience, substitution requests should be submitted to service@ftfnews.com at least 48 hours before the event, whenever possible.

Dietary restrictions and special meal requests for substitute attendees must be submitted at least 14 days before the event. While FTF will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requests received after this deadline using available meal options, accommodations cannot be guaranteed.

Substitutions requested fewer than 48 hours before the event will be accommodated on a best-effort basis. FTF cannot guarantee updated name badges, event materials, dietary accommodations, or event app access for last-minute substitutions.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend, we first encourage you to transfer your registration to another employee within your organization. If a substitute is not available, the following cancellation policy applies.

FTF cancellation options at a glance chart, outlining options for cancellation based on cancellation timing

Cancellations Received 60 or More Days Before the Event

Choose one of the following:

  • Receive a full refund, less a $150 administrative fee, or
  • Receive a 100% event credit toward any future FTF-produced event.

Cancellations Received 14–59 Days Before the Event

Choose one of the following:

  • Receive a 50% refund, less a $150 administrative fee, or
  • Receive a 100% event credit toward any future FTF-produced event.

Cancellations Received Fewer Than 14 Days Before the Event

  • Refunds and event credits are not available.
  • Registrations may still be transferred to another employee within the same organization in accordance with the Substitution Policy.

Because event costs—including catering, venue commitments, production, and other event-related expenses—are finalized in the two weeks leading up to the event, cancellations received fewer than 14 days before the event are not eligible for refunds or event credits.

Event Credits

  • Must be used within 12 months of the original event date.
  • Are non-transferable.
  • May be applied toward registration for any future FTF-produced event.
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 3–5 business days.

Promotional Offers & Group Registrations

Promotional pricing, group discounts, complimentary registrations, and other special offers are subject to continued eligibility.

If a cancellation or registration change causes the qualifying requirements for a promotional offer to no longer be met, FTF reserves the right to adjust registration fees, withdraw the promotional benefit, or invoice the applicable difference.

Ticket Eligibility & Verification

Ensure you're registering under the appropriate attendee category.

All registrations are subject to verification to ensure the appropriate registration category has been selected.

If a vendor, consultant, technology provider, service provider, or other commercial organization registers using an end-user or financial services attendee rate, FTF reserves the right to:

  • Charge the difference to the applicable registration rate.
  • Upgrade the registration to the appropriate ticket type.
  • Cancel the registration if the attendee does not meet the eligibility requirements or declines the applicable rate adjustment.
Develop the Next Generation

Reward your team while investing in the next generation of industry professionals.

Organizations that purchase and maintain four (4) or more VIP All-Access Passes may register one (1) complimentary Emerging Professional (Conference Access) from the same organization.

Eligibility

The complimentary Emerging Professional attendee must:

  • Be employed by the same organization as the qualifying VIP registrants.
  • Be an early-career professional, typically with five years or less of professional experience or who is early in a performance measurement, client reporting, client services, operations, or related role.
  • Meet any eligibility requirements established by FTF.

Registration Changes

Qualification is based on the organization purchasing and maintaining four (4) or more VIP All-Access Passes.

If a cancellation, refund, or other registration change reduces the number of qualifying VIP registrations below four, FTF reserves the right to:

  • Cancel the complimentary Emerging Professional registration; or
  • Invoice the applicable Conference Access registration fee should the organization wish to retain the registration.

 The complimentary registration:

  • Includes Conference Access only.
  • Has no cash value.
  • May not be exchanged for another registration type.
  • May not be redeemed for an event credit or refund.
  • Is non-transferable outside the qualifying organization.
No-Show Policy

If you're unable to attend, please cancel or send a substitute before the event begins.

Attendees who do not attend the event and have not submitted a cancellation or substitution request before the event begins will forfeit their registration and will not be eligible for a refund or future event credit.

Agenda Changes

Occasionally, changes are necessary to ensure the best possible event experience.

FTF reserves the right to modify the event agenda, including session topics, speakers, moderators, presentation formats, workshop offerings, room assignments, and session times, as circumstances require.

While every effort is made to deliver the published program, changes may occur due to speaker availability, travel disruptions, unforeseen circumstances, or program enhancements. Significant program changes will be communicated to registered attendees whenever reasonably possible.

Force Majeure

Circumstances beyond our reasonable control may require changes to the event.

FTF shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or changes resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, public health emergencies, labor disputes, government actions, venue closures, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseen events.

If such circumstances require the event to be postponed, rescheduled, relocated, or materially modified, FTF reserves the right to transfer registrations to the revised event dates or issue event credits toward a future FTF-produced event in lieu of refunds.
